The Phuket Express reports the Revenue Department is consulting until October 29 on a draft 1,000-baht tax on every air departure, for Thais and foreigners. Expats, tourists and the Association of Thai Travel Agents object.
Per The Phuket Express, marine police and the Central Investigation Bureau arrested a 32-year-old Russian accused of working as an unlicensed tour guide and allegedly threatening tourists who filmed him.
